Each year on the first Friday of October, manufacturers, educators, and communities across the nation come together for Manufacturing Day (MFG Day): a day dedicated to showcasing the power of modern manufacturing and the people who make it possible. This year, MFG Day takes place on Friday, October 3, 2025, and though we’re not hosting a live event, our commitment to honoring the spirit of this movement has never been stronger.

Manufacturing is more than an industry. It is the foundation of strong economies, thriving communities, and new opportunities for millions of people. It is the spark of innovation that keeps our world moving forward and the steady hands of workers who take pride in creating what sustains us. At Veryable, we believe celebrating MFG Day means honoring not just the products made in America but the resilience, creativity, and ingenuity of the people behind them.

Our mission is to revitalize the manufacturing sector in high-cost regions by helping businesses lower per-unit costs and scale with minimal risk. When manufacturers succeed, entire communities prosper, and opportunities expand for future generations. But that success also extends to the workforce itself. Veryable’s on-demand labor marketplace creates a win–win: companies gain flexibility, while workers gain the freedom to choose when, where, and how they work. This means more earning potential, exposure to new skills, and greater control over one’s career path, all while strengthening the backbone of American industry. That is why this day matters to us. It is a reminder of the vital role this sector plays in building a stronger and more prosperous America.

Though we are not gathering live this year, we are proud to share highlights from past conversations and events that capture the heart of MFG Day. These stories reflect the diverse voices that make manufacturing so dynamic: leaders, partners, and workers who embody what this movement is all about.

Explore the clips below and join us in celebrating the people shaping the future of manufacturing.

How Automotive Manufacturing Drives America Forward

Automotive manufacturing has long been the heartbeat of American industry, shaping communities and fueling innovation for generations. In this video, you’ll hear from Veryable’s Ty Morgan, alongside partners like ADAC, Antolin, Feniex Industries, and Metal Flow. Together, they share personal stories of growing up in automotive communities, the pride of seeing their work on the road, and the innovations that keep the industry moving forward. From family traditions to life-saving technologies, their insights reveal why automotive remains one of the most exciting and impactful sectors in modern manufacturing.

Partnerships That Revitalize American Manufacturing

In this video, Josh Mote, Veryable's Director of Partnerships, shares how the company works with forward-thinking organizations to create lasting impact for manufacturers, workers, and communities. You’ll also hear from leaders at the Detroit Regional Partnership, Michigan Manufacturers Association, and Austin Regional Manufacturers Association, who highlight how collaborating with Veryable is helping to revitalize regions, expand career pathways, and reshape perceptions of modern manufacturing.

Empowering Workers, Enriching Communities

This video highlights the voices that matter most, the people using the Veryable platform every day. From single parents finding balance, to operators discovering new skills, to families building their own businesses, these stories show the real impact of opportunity when people are empowered to choose their own path. Operators such as Josh Montgomery, Ursula Hill, and the Cordier family share how Veryable has helped them provide for their families, pursue passions, and build toward the future they want. Their journeys reflect the heart of Veryable’s mission: giving people the autonomy, flexibility, and tools to change not just their work but their lives.

Paving the Way for a More Prosperous Tomorrow

The future of manufacturing is not only about new machines. It is about solving what many leaders call the “impossible operations problem.” Rapidly shifting customer expectations, changing demographics, and global uncertainty have exposed the limits of old systems. Veryable is helping operations leaders break through those limits by addressing the most critical barrier: labor.

In this video, Veryable’s Co-Founders Mike Kinder and Noah Labhart explain why on-demand labor is the missing key to digital transformation. By “variablizing” workforce capacity, companies can ramp up or down instantly, scale without risk, and deliver value today while staying prepared for tomorrow. Industrial technology offers the greatest opportunity manufacturing has ever seen, but only when labor moves as flexibly as the rest of the operation. Veryable is enabling businesses to thrive in this new reality and paving the way for a stronger, more resilient future of manufacturing.
