1. Tell us about yourself and what led you to start working on Veryable
I was going through some job changes when I started working through PeopleReady temp staffing. During that time, someone told me about Veryable, so I decided to try it out in 2019. It worked really well for me, and since then, Veryable has been the only platform I’ve used for this type of work.

2. What motivates you to keep showing up and doing great work through the platform?
My work ethic started with my very first job at 16, when I applied at Mrs. Winners Chicken and Biscuits. Ever since then, I’ve carried that commitment to doing my best in every role, and it’s helped me succeed on Veryable. What motivates me is the next-day pay and the variety of work the platform offers. I like being able to switch up jobs from time to time. When I first started, having a car gave me more options to travel to different jobs. Now, I’ve been relying on public transit for over two years, so my options are more limited, but the variety still keeps me engaged and motivated.

3. What do you enjoy most about Veryable and how has it impacted your life - personally, professionally, and financially?
I enjoy the ability to do a good job and be recognized for it. Financially, getting paid daily has made a big difference. Professionally, it has enhanced my warehouse abilities and taught me to handle whatever is needed. Every assignment adds to my experience and helps me grow my skills.

4. What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out on Veryable and wants to succeed?
Do the best job you can, so you can join the Labor Pool and get more opportunities. Be timely, professional, and reliable—when you’re on the job, you’re representing Veryable. Each shift is an opportunity to learn and grow, so stay flexible and take advantage of it.

5. What skills have you developed or improved since you started working through Veryable?
Working through Veryable has strengthened my warehouse abilities and taught me to handle a wide range of tasks.
