1. Tell us about yourself and what led you to start working on Veryable
Born and raised in Houston, Texas. I’ve been here just working on my life. I went to school here and attended AIU University, where I got a degree in business management. I can work independently and as part of a team. I’ve had a construction job and a regular 9–5 job, but I like the ability to make my own hours, set my own schedule, and work when I need to.I’ve worked at different locations and jobs, learning how each operates and how they do things at different warehouses. It’s been a great experience because every warehouse is different, and no warehouse operates the same. I’ve been able to learn new skills at each place and even start my own home business eventually, which is really cool.

2. What motivates you to keep showing up and doing great work through the platform?
What motivates me the most is myself. My self-dedication drives me, because I’m essentially working for myself. Everything depends on my ability to get up and go to work and fulfill my responsibilities. How well I do is on me, and that’s what motivates me the most.

3. What do you enjoy most about Veryable and how has it impacted your life - personally, professionally, and financially?
I enjoy the ability to work when I want. I have the freedom to choose—if I want to work today, I can; if I want to work a few days a week, I can. This flexibility has affected my life by giving me the ability to handle family responsibilities, like taking off for my children’s events, graduations, or weddings, without worrying about navigating the hoops a regular job requires. I can schedule myself ahead of time, and it doesn’t negatively affect anyone else. I can also work extra shifts on weekends to earn additional income, giving me both freedom and financial control.

4. What advice would you give to someone who is just starting out on Veryable and wants to succeed?
What motivates me to succeed is the consistency and opportunity on the platform. Once you get into a job and start showing up, you can continue to exceed expectations. Unlike other companies where schedules can be unpredictable, here I can rely on steady opportunities and growth.

5. What skills have you developed or improved since you started working through Veryable?
I’ve been able to learn new skills, including running a warehouse, shipping and receiving, processing, inventory management, warehouse efficiency, forklift operation, and overall warehouse operations. These experiences have made me feel confident in moving up and continuing to grow professionally.
